The USC BAA is an impactful organization in the surrounding Los Angeles community, and has gained significant momentum over the recent years. Due to the generosity of your support, we have awarded over $6 Million in scholarship awards to more than 2600 undergraduate, graduate and professional students since 1976, and have become one of the most highly regarded black alumni associations nationally.
Our events will be held offsite in Marina del Rey, as part of a full day of convening and fellowship for alumni and the community in support of our scholarship fundraising efforts. Our Summit was first held in 2015; this year’s event is a highly anticipated follow-up and is an opportunity for our black faculty to present their research and findings which pertain to the private institutional environment that is applicable uniquely to us.
Please indicate your sponsorship level for USC BAA’s 2017 “Aligning for Black Excellence in Higher Education Summit II: The Compass” to be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017. The day’s events are comprised of a conference symposia from 7:45 am to 3:00 pm, and an evening scholarship benefit concert featuring Grammy Award winning artist Anthony Hamilton & The Hamiltones.
With your conference registration, continental breakfast and lunch will be included. However, parking is not; it is $15.00/car. For the evening portion, a sunset reception, dinner, dancing, and fabulous networking are included while listening to the sounds of Anthony Hamilton & The Hamiltones on the FantaSea Yacht.
Sponsorship contributions are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law. No goods or services will be received in exchange for a contribution. Our tax-ID is 95-1642394. Event proceeds will benefit BAA student scholarships.
On behalf of the USC Black Alumni Association, we thank you for your support and look forward to seeing you at the Summit events!
